Wheat Berries to Flour Calculator
Freshly milling your own flour starts with one question: how many wheat berries do I need? The short answer is that whole grain milling is almost exactly 1:1 by weight. 500 grams of wheat berries becomes about 500 grams of whole wheat flour. By volume it's a different story, because flour is much fluffier than whole berries: 1 cup of berries yields about 1.5 cups of flour.
